Our View

Does it meet the basic food groups? Yes. All the food groups are promoted in this diet approach.

What about balance and variety? According to the principles of Canada's food guide, the basic recommendations for balanced meal plans using a variety of choices from all food groups is usually respected here. However, being allowed to choose just any food for points in this system, could lead to poorly balanced meals.

Risks? One. Chances are, if just about any food is allowed for points, this approach may not provide the body with all the essential nutrients. Overall, this approach will provide fewer calories weight loss.
